Child seat/child safety
Here you can find out when you need a child seat and how to close the rear doors so that they can no longer be opened from the inside.
Child seat
In places with seat belts, children under the age of twelve must have a suitable child restraint device, e.g. B. a child seat can be used.
No child restraint needs to be used:
a. for children who are at least 150 cm tall
b. for children aged four and over in seats specially approved for children
Parental controls
To prevent a child from opening the door while driving, the rear doors can be secured with the child lock. If this is active, the rear doors can only be opened from the outside.
To do this, you have to open the rear door and turn the white switch to the side with an oblong object.
